Nursing Assistant Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Assistant to join our team at Bendigo Donor Centre.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time role that offers varied shifts across a rotating roster. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting donors through their donation process.

You will be responsible for greeting and interviewing potential donors, creating a positive donor experience, and completing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests. You will also be required to set up machines and collections equipment, insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets, and monitor donors post-donation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and good time management and organisational skills. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations.
