About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert to join our team in Darwin. This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional to provide expert advice and support to client agencies on procurement projects and processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering procurement projects and discrete deliverables with high accuracy and efficiency
- Developing procurement plans, specifications, and sourcing strategies that meet business needs
- Evaluating tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of procurement policy and legislation, as well as experience in end-to-end procurement and contract management. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills are essential for success in this role.
