Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled 12D Design Engineer to join our Victoria team, specializing in road alignment design. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for producing designs using 12D Model software and collaborating with other designers to develop and maintain design modeling standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop detailed models and design information using 12d Model and CAD software (AutoCAD)
- Provide innovative design solutions to problems, ensuring the team stays up-to-date with new advancements in technology
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide practical and cost-effective solutions
- Collaborate with other designers to develop and maintain design modeling standards
- Identify and forecast risks, opportunities, and variances in the relevant scope of works
- Provide information for basic estimating exercises and prepare take-offs as requested
Requirements
- Tertiary education in Engineering or equivalent
- Proficiency in 12d, including macro programming, snippet creation, and chains
- 12D design experience
- Strong understanding of road alignment design gained in a design consultancy
- Ability to interact with all stakeholders at all levels
