Position Overview:

This role aligns closely with the Quality of Care Principles, allowing you to support, educate, and mentor your colleagues.

Your strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills will be essential for success in this position, and you will be dedicated to staff support, education, and mentorship.

This is a casual role that involves working across various sites in the northern region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping in all assigned areas.
  • Maintaining appropriate interactions with residents in accordance with organizational values.
  • Respecting resident lifestyles and personal choices.
  • Responding to urgent cleaning needs as directed.
  • Fostering effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues.
  • Utilizing appropriate channels for assistance and addressing concerns.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 and current flu vaccination requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months).
  • Successful completion of pre-employment forms and reference checks.
