Staff Specialist in Anaesthesia

  • Deliver specialist perioperative and anaesthetic care, including on-call services
  • Supervising, training and assessing junior medical staff
  • Contributing to the leadership and organisation of perioperative services

We are seeking a Staff Specialist in Anaesthesia to join our department. The successful applicant will have a Primary Medical Degree, Fellowships of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), and recent experience in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality perioperative and anaesthetic care to patients across all major subspecialties, including paediatrics.
  2. Supervise, train and assess junior medical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  3. Contribute to the leadership and organisation of perioperative services, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
