The Garden Maintenance Team Member will play a critical role in maintaining our gardens, ensuring they remain safe, healthy, and visually appealing. This hands-on position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a competitive role with a salary of $65,000 per annum, based on your ability to create amazing gardens. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday with an early start and finish, allowing for a great work-life balance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of gardens, including hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
• Safe operation of hand tools and power equipment under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Loading and unloading materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Maintenance of cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Adherence to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and sunlight.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid Drivers Licence.
• White Card.
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
