We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compositor to join our team at Industrial Light & Magic. As a Senior Compositor, you will be responsible for combining live action and computer generated elements into visual effects shots that meet the creative vision of our clients and Visual Effects Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and implement artistic and technical approaches for assigned shots
- Create high-quality composite shots that maintain uniformity in all finished work
- Collaborate with the Compositing Supervisor and VFX Supervisor to determine aesthetic solutions
- Mentor and assist junior artists in their work
- Meet defined milestones within a timeline
- 3+ years of experience in feature film compositing
- Proven ability to create high-quality composite shots
- Fluency in Nuke and experience with Python and/or C++
- Ability to write Nuke gizmos
- Strong fine arts foundation skills, including photography and photographic lighting
