Seafloor Topography Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced seafloor topography analyst to process and interpret large datasets of Antarctic bathymetry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Processing and analyzing complex geospatial data from various sources;
2. Developing and implementing algorithms to improve the accuracy and precision of bathymetric models;
3. Interpreting results and identifying areas of interest for further investigation;
4. Collaborating with other scientists and researchers to integrate bathymetric data with other geological and geophysical datasets;
5. Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Key skills and qualifications include:

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as geology, geophysics, oceanography or a related discipline;
• Extensive experience in geospatial data analysis and interpretation;
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, MATLAB or IDL;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
