Job Title: Cyber Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description

This role requires a skilled professional to design, implement and manage robust IT and OT infrastructure solutions that support both internal operations and our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Windows & Linux server environments, enterprise networking, cloud platforms, virtualization and security frameworks.

In this position, you will architect, deliver and integrate technologies that underpin mission-critical energy and systems integration projects.

You will also lead systems integration across on-premises, cloud and edge environments, administer and optimise virtualization platforms and configure, maintain and enhance network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable IT/OT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, networking and cloud environments.
  • Lead systems integration across on-premises, cloud and edge environments.
  • Administer and optimise virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Configure, maintain and enhance network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity measures (zero-trust, IAM, SIEM, malware/antivirus).
  • Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
  • Manage M365 environments (Entra ID, Intune, Teams) and user access controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver infrastructure projects providing technical leadership and clear documentation.
  • Support end-users with Level 2/3 technical issues and deliver training where required.
Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar IT systems engineering role.

Strong technical expertise is required in the following areas:

  • Windows & Linux server environments.
  • Enterprise networking (routing, switching, VLANs, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, IaaS, containers, DevOps pipelines).
  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Security frameworks (IAM, SOC, SIEM, penetration testing).

A tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
