Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

">

The ideal candidate will have extensive mechanical experience on SAAB 340 (or similar type), hold a Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) and CASA Part 66 Licence, and possess exceptional skills in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.

The key responsibilities of this role include line maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft, conducting routine servicing of aircraft, and ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, in accordance with CASA regulations.

The successful candidate will also need to have strong team player skills, ability to follow supervisory direction, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistent positive and proactive attitude, passion for safe work practices, valid work visa, Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain), and current Australian Driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft">
  • Conducting routine servicing of aircraft">
  • Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, in accordance with CASA regulations">
  • Replacement of mechanical components, including hydraulic actuators, engines and components, landing gear and flight controls">
  • Executing post-repair functional tests">
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation">

Requirements:
