Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven individual to join our APAC Megapack Business Development team at Tesla. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing tender responses for utility scale projects throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the compilation of comprehensive tender responses to utility scale projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with regional and global internal teams to maintain up-to-date and thorough tender responses.
- Support the evaluation of new projects by coordinating with the Business Development team and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and benchmarking on business opportunities, utilizing data sources to deliver actionable insights to the Business Development team.
- Assist the wider team with pricing and cost analysis for medium to large-scale projects, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor the progress of bid submissions and internal priorities, working closely with stakeholders to support the execution of project contracts.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced environment.
- Business, Engineering, Process Design, or alternative degree preferred.
- Proven track record of prioritizing effectively and handling shifting priorities.
- Able to learn and operate effectively in a dynamic company.
- Detail-driven with an ability to execute with accuracy and speed.
- Proven ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Sales Management software (such as Salesforce) seen favorably.
- Driven and enthusiastic with a genuine interest and passion for Tesla's mission.
