We're seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Shoe Enthusiast, a dynamic and engaging part-time position in our Sydney store. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in connecting customers with their perfect shoes, while embodying the Fluevog spirit of creativity, diversity, and inclusivity.

Job Description:

  • You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with purchases, and going above and beyond to find solutions to any issues they may have.
  • You will also be involved in community engagement efforts, connecting customers to the greater Flumumunity through in-shop events and initiatives.
  • Additionally, you will focus on driving personal sales, working towards group sales goals, and demonstrating product knowledge and confidence.
  • You will assist with merchandising, ensuring shoes are presented well and displays are tidy.
  • Finally, you will be responsible for payment processing, collecting customer payments and information at the POS, and participating in the web order process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You must possess basic computer and technology skills, including Gmail, iOS, and internal POS software.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years' sales experience is required.
  • You should have below-average karaoke skills (but we appreciate your willingness to learn)
  • You should also possess positivity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
  • A real understanding and eagerness to foster community and build trusting relationships are essential.
  • You should be physically able to perform all in-store tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, kneeling, crawling around the floor, climbing ladders and stairs, and standing for up to eight hours.
