Non-Emergency Patient Transport Specialist

About the Role
Ambulance Victoria is seeking a casual Patient Transport Officer to join our team in Shepparton. As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient care and transport of non-emergency pre and post hospital patients.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to all cases in a timely manner
- Provide appropriate patient assessment, care, and transport, in accordance with applicable regulations
- Complete Patient Care Records and other relevant documentation in an accurate manner
- Provide effective patient handover to hospital staff/patient relatives
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent
- Current Victorian driver license
- Minimum 100 hours of on-road clinical experience completed within a two-year period
- Demonstrated understanding of Scope of Practice/Clinical Practice Guidelines for the role
