Dental Hygienist Position in Belconnen

Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join their team on a part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a supportive and patient-centered environment.
With a focus on providing high-quality dental care, you will play an essential role in helping patients maintain their oral health while collaborating closely with a team of experienced dental professionals.
The role is available for two days per week (Tuesdays and Fridays) with an optional Saturday shift depending on chair availability.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver preventive oral care including scaling, cleaning, and periodontal care
- Work in collaboration with dentists to create and implement personalised treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Ensure precise and detailed recording of patient data
- Adhere to clinical protocols and dental policies to ensure a high standard of care
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Oral Health and current registration as a Hygienist in Australia
- Proven experience as a Hygienist in a dental clinic (public or private)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team
- Knowledge of clinical risk management and a commitment to high-quality care
- Flexible part-time hours (Tuesdays and Fridays with optional Saturdays)
