We are seeking experienced Production Operators to join our team at a new tannery in Laverton North. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing various manufacturing processes associated with tanning sheepskin hides to meet daily targets.

The successful candidate will work day shifts Monday to Friday, starting at 8am. They will be provided with comprehensive training on the job, so prior experience is not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete various manufacturing processes associated with tanning sheepskin hides
  • Meet daily targets
  • Work effectively as part of a team
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
  • Be reliable and trustworthy by nature
  • Be a self-starter and motivator
  • Basic production worker experience is desirable but not essential
  • Be aware of safe WH&S practice
  • This role involves lifting of hides and physical movements, suited to someone who is physically fit with reasonable strength
  • A forklift license will be ideal but not essential, and any experience in hide tanning will be advantageous
