About Maintenance Systems Solutions Pty Ltd, a leading Australian company with international presence, we are currently seeking an Electrical and Mechanical Technical Specialist to join our team.
The role involves working closely with mechanical and electrical teams to review and improve engineering standards, specifications, and documentation. Your work will ensure compliance with Australian Standards and best practices in the Mining industry.
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, on a 4/3 roster with 12-hour days. The role is site-based, FIFO out of Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reviews of engineering standards and specifications against current Australian Standards and best practices with input from engineering personnel.
- Prepare templates and forms to standardise and improve electrical procedures.
- Develop and maintain electrical processes, procedures, standards, plans, and guidelines in compliance with Australian standards and legislative requirements.
- File documents in both physical and digital records, ensuring appropriate storage and access.
- Adhere to the company's document lifecycle procedures and processes.
- Ensure timely completion of all allocated tasks while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive documentation.
- Undertake any and all duties as directed by the Line Manager/Manager(s).

To be successful you will need experience in the following:
- You must have experience as a Technical Writer in the Mining industry.
- You must have experience with mechanical and electrical processes, procedures, and standards.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and compliance requirements.
- You must have Australian working rights for this role.
About You
Maintenance Systems Solutions (MSS) offers competitive hourly rates between $85 and $95 per hour, paid weekly, along with benefits such as staff uniforms and technical support. If you believe you possess the required skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
