Power System Engineer Opportunity

DNV's APAC Power Grid department is seeking a skilled Power System Engineer to join our Power System Planning team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to a wide range of projects in Australia and within the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on complex, unique, and rewarding projects such as hybrid renewable projects.
  • Collaborate with an established team of power system engineers to deliver quality results for our customers.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for grid integration of inverter energy systems within Australia.
  • Utilize PSSE and PSCAD software to complete NER Chapter 5 connection application studies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and presentation skills.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of power system engineering and grid integration of inverter energy systems within Australia.
  • Proficiency in Power Systems Analysis tools PSSE, and PSCAD.
  • Python scripting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
