Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary up to $18,550 per year, plus the opportunity to purchase additional leave through salary packaging. We also offer flexibility in work arrangements, a comprehensive induction program, and ongoing training opportunities.

The Role

This rewarding career opportunity involves delivering supports to families, using evidence-informed best practice principles. The successful Speech Pathology Specialist will use assessments, observations, and their understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals
  • Use assessments, observations, and knowledge of child development to tailor support options
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals by building skills and confidence
  • Connect children and families with their community to ensure inclusion and participation
  • Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles
