This is a unique opportunity for a senior registrar with a passion for teaching and education to contribute to the development and delivery of a nationally recognized Fellowship program. As a Registrar Medical Educator, you will work under the guidance of the Regional Director of Training and the Medical Education team, assisting with delivering educational content, supporting registrar development, and contributing to the success of the Fellowship program.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • ">
  • Teaching and Supporting Learning">
  • Prepare and deliver education sessions as part of the National Fellowship Education Program.">
  • Develop, design, plan, and deliver medical education content for the Regional Education program.">
  • Support for the Regional Training Team">
  • Assist the Regional Training Team in setting up education workshops.">
  • Support the Regional Training Team and staff at key stakeholder events.">
  • Represent the organization at stakeholder meetings to promote the Fellowship program.">
  • Provide general advice to registrars regarding training requirements.">
  • Provide feedback to the Regional Team and Registrar Liaison Officer on registrar concerns and suggestions.">

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet certain qualifications and competencies, including:

  • ">
  • Full unconditional medical registration with the relevant regulatory agency.">
  • Active clinical practice as a Registrar on an approved training pathway.">
  • A minimum of two years of experience on the training program.">
  • Some experience and understanding of medical education in a rural context.">
  • Completion of key assessments such as MCQ, MSF, and Mini-CEX.">
