Sports Development Director

The State Sports Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of sport competitions and 'learn to play' programs across 66 PCYC NSW Clubs.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the implementation of consistent, high-quality sports competitions and activities across PCYC Clubs.
- Develop strategies to grow participation, enhance member retention, and optimize financial performance across the sports portfolio.
- Streamline program delivery by creating tools, templates, and best practice guides.
- Identify revenue opportunities, market needs, and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to recruit, support, and upskill staff involved in sports delivery.
- Support Club Managers in planning, resource allocation, and performance evaluation.
- Provide regular reporting on participation trends and program performance to the executive team.
- Build relationships with State Sporting Organisations, suppliers, partners, and community stakeholders.
- A degree in Sports Management or Business.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering social sports competitions in a multisite capacity.
- Valid Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate.
