Our client is seeking a Project Director with extensive experience in building services to lead their projects from start to finish.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a high-level understanding of the project life cycle, from concept to completion, and be able to develop strong relationships with clients. They will take ownership of project execution and delivery, design and engineering reviews, cost planning, and meeting minutes. Additionally, they will manage tender processes, chair PCG meetings, act as Subject Matter Experts, and coordinate with third parties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders on project progress and issues
  • Chairing project meetings and ensuring effective communication among team members
  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams
  • Identifying and mitigating potential project risks and issues
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in building services project management
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • An in-depth understanding of relevant Australian standards and building codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A degree in a related field, such as construction or engineering
