ICU Registrar Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Registrar to join our team. As an ICU Registrar, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients in the ICU.
The ideal candidate will have 6 months recent experience in ICU or Anaesthetics and will possess strong clinical and procedural skills. They will also be able to lead Medical Emergency Teams (MET) in paediatric, neonatology, obstetric emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage ICU/HDU patients
- Participate in TPN rounds under supervision
- Perform general ICU procedures, including mechanical ventilation, intubations, central venous access, and chest drain placement
- Lead Medical Emergency Teams (MET) in paediatric, neonatology, obstetric emergencies
- Recent experience in ICU or Anaesthetics
- Clinical and procedural skills
- BLS/ALS 1 and 2, Basic course and PLS qualifications highly regarded
- Salary: $125,010 to $170,682 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
- Professional development allowance: $10,969 pro rata per annum if part-time
- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits
Our ICU is a CICM C6 unit approved for up to 6 months General training. The daily management of ICU/HDU patients and review of ward, ED consultations are key responsibilities.
