Role Overview
Arnhem Family Medical Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior General Practitioner to join their part-time or full-time team in East Arnhem Land. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the health and well-being of individuals and families in the region, providing high-quality medical care with a focus on patient-centred services.
About the Role
As a Senior General Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive medical assessments, diagnose and manage health conditions focusing on the cultural, physical and emotional needs of patients. You will maintain accurate medical records, respecting cultural sensitivities and confidentiality, and use culturally appropriate communication and a patient-centered approach.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive medical assessments and diagnose and manage health conditions
• Maintain accurate medical records and use culturally appropriate communication
• Use a patient-centered approach and respect cultural sensitivities and confidentiality
• Participate in case conferences and adapt treatment strategies
• Be flexible in clinical care and health education to meet community needs
Requirements
• Specialist General Practitioner registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Fellowship with RACGP or ACCRM
• Unrestricted working rights within Australia
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with patients, families and colleagues
• Driven to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives
• National Police Clearance
• NT Working with Children (Ochre Card) or ability to obtain
