Purchasing / Stores Manager - Sydney Tower Dining

Job Description:

Procurement and Inventory Manager required for Sydney Tower venue. Key responsibilities include:

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and monitor stock movements.
  • Reorder products in a timely manner to prevent shortages or excess.

Purchasing:

  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible prices and delivery schedules.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and delivery timelines.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for various departments to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Analyze purchasing expenses and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor communications.
  • Review and adhere to company policies regarding purchasing procedures and ethical sourcing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
