Job Title: Risk Management Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects focused on providing Assurance and/or Assurance Advisory services around risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.

">

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management Risks, Risks and Controls, Business Process, and IT General Controls. They will also possess a deep understanding of SOX and other relevant compliance frameworks, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

">

Key Responsibilities:

">

Lead and manage projects focused on providing Assurance and/or Assurance Advisory services around risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.

">

Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective Business and Risk assurance strategies.

">

Provide Assurance and/or Assurance Advice on ESG compliance and/or SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements.

">

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.

">

Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.

">

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to risk management and compliance.

">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field.

">

One or more of the following or equivalent +3 years of experience in providing Assurance or Assurance Advisory over Risk and Controls (Business Process and/or IT General Controls), Program and Project Risk Management services, Regulatory Compliance (e.g. Privacy, SoCI Act, ESG, SOX, Spam Act), Controls transformation.

">

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

">

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.

">

Relevant certifications (e.g. CA, CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP or other relevant certifications) are a plus.

">
