The Opportunity
Ventia is seeking experienced and qualified Boilermakers/Welders to support our ongoing maintenance contract at BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam operations. The successful candidates will join a team that requires a high level of expertise in the mining industry.
Key Requirements
- AUS/NZ recognised Boilermaker (equivalent) Trade qualification.
- Demonstrated post-trade experience in a similar role.
- Mine site experience is highly desirable.
- Current manual HR licence is required.
- High Risk Work Licence is highly regarded.
- Bucket re-build experience is an asset.
- Attachment crack repair experience is also desirable.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Ability to pass a weld test to Ventia supplied WPS.
- Hold a current/cleared Police Check.
