We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Cost Management Specialist to join our Infrastructure and Defence team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will lead the cost control team, ensuring effective management of project costs.

About the Role:

The primary objective of this role is to optimize project success by delivering against agreed program objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing and leading the cost control team, working collaboratively with other teams to ensure integrated project controls, developing and implementing cost control plans and procedures, establishing and maintaining project budgets, and tracking actual costs against budgeted figures.

Key Specifications:

  • Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Risk, Change, Reporting, Commercial, Delivery, and Finance teams.
  • Establish and maintain project budgets.
  • Implement change management processes within cost control frameworks.
  • Analyze project data to calculate Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship or ability to work in Australia.
  • 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years in a Cost Control/Project Controls role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Control and Project Controls.
