About the Role

As a vital member of our residential installation team, you will be responsible for various tasks that support end-to-end solar and battery system installations for our customers. These tasks include:

  • Collecting stock from our warehouse or local suppliers and transporting it to site with efficiency.
  • Preparing and maintaining rooftops in excellent condition.
  • Installing components on site, including panels, inverters, batteries, cabling, roof racking, and conduits.
  • Collaborating with our electricians and other team members to ensure proper wiring and electrical connections of solar panels.
  • Commissioning and inspecting systems to confirm their integrity and functionality.
  • Engaging with customers throughout the installation, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the solar industry or as a roofer.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A valid Working at Heights certification and ideally also a White Card.
  • Knowledge of roofing materials and techniques, along with an eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills, coupled with a professional yet friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work away from home for extended periods, adapting to changing project requirements.
