About the Role:
Mandurah Baptist College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to fill the position of Dean of Students (Secondary) at St George Christian School.
The Dean of Students plays a pivotal role in the leadership team, collaborating closely with the Principal, Head of Secondary, Dean of Teaching & Learning, and Dean of Operations to establish a positive and supportive learning environment.
This key position is responsible for ensuring the success of the College's vision and maintaining high academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the College's Secondary community in improving educational outcomes by fostering positive relationships between students, teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
- Nurture a safe, well-being-focused, and connected environment for all students.
- Develop and implement effective pastoral care and discipline systems.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive the College's mission and vision forward.
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the relevant teaching authority.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Valid Australian work rights.
- Commitment to upholding and living the Mission, Vision, and Christian values of St George Christian School.
