Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to join our Training & Equipment Team in the South West region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the promotion and delivery of training across the region, ensuring high-quality service standards and compliance with RTO regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership to a medium-sized team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate training programs, including scheduling classes and rostering staff members across the region.
  • Facilitate onboarding and upskilling of staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Uphold service quality and compliance standards, ensuring that all training programs meet RTO requirements.
  • Drive financial efficiency within the team, ensuring that financial targets are met and exceeded.
  • Champion change and drive strategic direction of the team, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Travel within the South West region will be required, with a pool vehicle available for use when necessary.

Requirements

  • Background in corporate, health, community, or commercial sectors, with a strong understanding of operational processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to drive financial efficiency and meet targets.
  • Knowledge of training methodologies and requirements of an RTO, with a Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent highly desirable.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent highly desirable.
