Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

This role involves assisting individuals in achieving their goals and returning to work.
You will have the autonomy to structure your day, work compressed fortnights, and receive opportunities for ongoing training, career progression, and professional development.
- Collaborate with clients to identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications, and interests.
- Evaluate treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness.
- Conduct assessments such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments.
- Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate, and monitor client progress toward their return to work goal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of occupational rehabilitation principles and practices.
