Job Title: Managing Family Lawyer

Our client, a prestigious family law firm in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Managing Family Lawyer to join their team. As a key member of the firm, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 50 files, providing training and mentorship to junior lawyers and paralegals, and handling complex family law cases.

About the Role:
  • Manage a caseload of up to 50 files, ensuring timely and efficient handling of each case.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior lawyers and paralegals, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
  • Handle complex family law cases, including client consultations, case management, legal documentation, court representation, and negotiations.
  • Supervise junior lawyers and paralegals, offering guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
Requirements:
  • 5-20+ years PAE in Family Law, preferably from private practice.
  • Accredited Specialist in Family Law is desirable.
  • Proven ability to meet billable targets while managing a team.
  • Strong track record of team management and development.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
