Job Overview

UMENCO is seeking a highly experienced Senior Wholesale Director to lead the international wholesale operations of our contemporary womenswear brand.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global wholesale management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding key accounts.

This senior-level role involves strategizing and executing plans to increase wholesale revenue, managing global showroom operations, and collaborating closely with marketing and production teams to refine collections and meet market demands.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, outstanding organisational abilities, and a deep understanding of the fashion industry. They will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities.

About the Role

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to drive wholesale revenue growth
  • Manage global showroom operations, including scheduling appointments and ensuring seamless execution
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and production teams to refine collections and meet market demands
  • Nurture existing client relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the industry

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in global wholesale management
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding key accounts
  • Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Strong understanding of the fashion industry and current trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
