We are looking for a Tech Portfolio Operations Specialist to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our Data Platforms leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our Data Platforms strategy.

This is a full-time position based in Sydney, requiring attendance at the office twice a week. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic plan that includes financials, risk management, projects (change), people, and operating model components.
  • Collaborating with Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Communications (Internal and External), Risk, and other Group Technology divisions to progress the strategic plan.
  • Supporting daily operations of the division through collaboration with senior management and leaders, performing an array of tasks from generating correspondence, maintaining electronic files, and planning and coordinating regular rhythm of governance meetings and committees.
  • Building and developing relationships with employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations and help to define new operational strategies working with the General Manager of Data Platforms and leaders on special projects.
  • Developing regular executive level reporting to ensure appropriate governance and escalation of management information and issues.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, practical experience in delivering organizational projects, and the ability to drive successful outcomes.
