Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Officer to join our team at GenesisCare. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our clients and staff, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to clients and staff, maintaining a professional and caring demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service via phone and in-person interactions.
- Manage patient records, filing, and data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate appointments, consultations, and billing processes, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth-running clinic, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a patient-facing role, with a strong focus on customer service and administrative support.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms is highly valued.
- Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
