Job Description

Becoming a skilled pastry professional is not just about following recipes, it's about developing an in-depth understanding of the craft of creating high-quality baked goods that bring people together.

As a bread-making apprentice, you will learn the skills needed to mix, process, and bake a variety of traditional, artisan, and sweet doughs, including sourdoughs, poolish, and continental-based breads.

Your day will start early, around 4am, as you work with experienced bakers to produce premium products that meet changing customer demands.

  1. Baking and Presenting Quality Products: Produce high-quality bread and pastries that meet customer expectations.
  2. Maintaining Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the bakery.
  3. Providing Excellent Customer Service: Offer exceptional service to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Assisting with Stock Control and Production Expenses: Assist with inventory management and production expense control.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a genuine passion for baking, be willing to learn new skills, and possess a positive attitude towards working in a team environment.
