English Curriculum Expert

The English Curriculum Expert role provides strategic leadership in the development and review of educational materials for Years 7–10.

This position oversees processes and deliverables associated with adopting and/or adapting the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 for English Education (Years 7–10).

  • Develop and review curriculum, assessment, and standards support materials for Years 7–10.
  • Oversee processes and deliverables associated with adopting and/or adapting the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 for English Education (Years 7–10).

Experienced Secondary English teachers with strong curriculum expertise are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline, with recent Years 7–10 teaching experience considered an advantage.

In this role, you will coordinate educational resources for staff across schools, regions, professional associations, and education sectors.

Successful applicants should have good communication skills, strong time management and organisational skills, and the ability to develop documents collegially, with a focus on internal timelines.
