Role Overview

As a Casual Residential Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be an integral part of a compassionate and dedicated team providing person-centred care to our residents. You'll actively engage with residents to design and implement individualised therapy plans incorporating leisure and lifestyle programs that support their overall wellbeing.

This role requires a positive 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams to ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess Resident Needs: Assist with assessing individual needs and interests for the development and implementation of individualised plans.
  2. Program Development: Assist with trialling new developments and innovative approaches to leisure & lifestyle programs.
  3. Plan Evaluation: Continually evaluate resident's plans and incorporate new approaches and strategies as appropriate.
  4. Compliance: Contribute to the compliance and accreditation outcomes in relation to the leisure and lifestyle program.
  5. Team Support: Support the involvement of volunteers and other staff in leisure & lifestyle programs.
Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or equivalent (desirable).
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of Aged Care and Residents' rights and responsibilities.
  • Dedication to caring for older people to live their best lives.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and possess a friendly approachable manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills.
