About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Environmental Scientist to join our Geoscience + Remediation Services Team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and technical services to our clients in the field of environmental remediation and contaminated land management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preliminary and detailed site investigations to identify and characterize environmental hazards
  • Development and implementation of remedial action plans to mitigate environmental risks
  • Site supervision and contractor management during remedial works
  • Preparation of environmental reports and tenders/proposals to secure new business
  • Opportunities to travel across ANZ to work on complex projects
  • Project management of multiple projects, depending on scope
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline such as Environmental Science
  • Strong environmental experience in ground remediation and/or contaminated land
  • Experience in data management and preparation of environmental reports
  • Experience in managing complex remediation projects
  • Solid project management/coordination skills, commercial acumen, and emotional intelligence to develop and maintain positive peer and client relationships
