We are seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee the delivery of complex rail infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing end-to-end project life cycles, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
This role involves providing high-level innovative, economical, and practical methods to drive project success, as well as effective leadership and management of teams across various disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide project governance and ensure reliable project performance in terms of commercial outcomes, design solutions, timeliness, and quality.
- Source, build, and maintain strong client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities.
- Lead and motivate teams to achieve optimal performance, resourcing, retention, and professional development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables.
- Local experience in delivering major rail infrastructure projects in Queensland.
- 15+ years of experience managing civil infrastructure projects of over $1m successfully to budget and client specifications.
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
- A chartered engineer (CPEng / RPEQ) with existing competencies with the Queensland and national rail agencies.
- Extensive experience in managing, designing, and delivering complex projects of national significance within multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Ability to lead, motivate, manage, develop, and resource high-performing teams.
- Experience in monitoring and managing the scope and risk of multiple complex and varying size projects.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
