Web Development Role

At Workyard, we're building a revolutionary workforce management platform for the construction industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Junior Web Engineer to join our experienced team and contribute to creating a game-changing product.

The role is hybrid, with 2 days spent in our Sydney offices and 3 days working remotely.

  • We're looking for someone who can work collaboratively within our product team to develop new features and deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • You'll be responsible for implementing pixel-perfect designs, improving the code base through continuous refactoring, and ensuring rigorous testing of new app releases.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Outstanding software engineering skills, particularly with React/TypeScript.
  • Experience building business applications with complex workflows, such as e-commerce sites or SaaS products.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and analytical ability to think critically beyond happy path scenarios.
  • Highly focused and able to differentiate essentials from nice-to-haves.
  • Possess strong UX and product sensibility, as well as outstanding communication skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
