About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Property and Projects Lawyer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Property team, you will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of transactions, including capital investments, energy transitions, and innovative projects in waste and hydrogen.

Our client base includes a mix of local and international entities, from renewable energy developers and real estate trusts to major commercial property owners and developers. With significant growth in the practice, we are eager to bring on board a motivated individual ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in a broad spectrum of high-profile transactions, such as buying and selling commercial, industrial, and retail real estate
  • Manage hotel and resort acquisitions
  • Participate in renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery, waste-to-hydrogen)
  • Structure joint ventures
  • Provide titling advice for property developments
  • Negotiate environmental offset arrangements
  • Draft infrastructure agreements
  • Secure regulatory approvals
  • Advise on project financing and foreign investment applications
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial property law, ideally with exposure to renewable energy
  • Strong drafting skills and a sharp commercial mindset
  • Experience managing files independently and in collaboration with senior lawyers
  • A passion for mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Confidence in client-facing roles and business development activities
  • The ability to handle multiple matters and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
