Storesperson - Melbourne Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Storesperson to join our team at Melbourne Airport.

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring goods required by the catering team are available on time and in the required quantities.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the stock in the store effectively to ensure space is available for incoming goods as required.
  • Maintaining company policies in relation to HACCP, QSAI, and WHS in accordance with Federal and State Government Regulations is essential.
  • A key part of this role will involve anticipating potential problems and taking appropriate actions to eliminate or manage their impact.

Main Requirements:

  • A current Forklift license (high reach preferred) is essential for this position.
  • Experience using manual and automated pallet jacks is also necessary.
  • A good knowledge of basic HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI requirements is crucial.
  • A basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures is also required.
  • A good knowledge of WHS regulations is essential.
  • A good knowledge of storehouse procedures is also necessary.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills are expected.
