We are a leading provider of brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, supported independent living and community participation services for people with disability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise payroll officers in their daily duties and coordinate continuous improvement of their skills
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll data
• Payroll Adjustments
• Liaising with relevant authorities and HRIS software
• Develop a sound working knowledge of EmpLive and Aurion and ensure accurate input of data
• Ensure personnel and company records are maintained and kept confidential
• General administration duties as needed
• Improving processes as needed
• Review and analyze Payroll data via Aurion
• Running weekly/fortnightly/monthly reports via Aurion and interpret data in line with legislation
• Understand and interpret various industrial instruments (e.g. awards, agreements, contracts of employment etc), classifications / levels and associated wages / salaries / rates of pay

Essential Criteria:

• 7+ years of end-to-end Payroll experience
• Supervisory experience within payroll field
• Ability to read and interpret awards and EBA's
• Experience with various HR and Payroll platforms in line with automated processes
• The ability to work on high volume administration together with building internal and external partnerships
• Able to view the payroll function objectively through an employee's eyes
• Integrating manual and automated systems

Desirable Criteria:

• Higher education in a relevant field
• Hands on Payroll experience in the care sector (e.g. hospitals, disability services)
• Aurion experience beneficial
