Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our Geelong Portfolio as an Area Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in cleaning
  • A comprehensive understanding of WHS standards and regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

This role involves strategic planning, scheduling, rostering, and reporting of cleaning personnel, sites, timesheets, and scheduled works. The successful candidate will also be responsible for customer liaison and supplier management.

The successful candidate will work independently with autonomy, yet report back to the Operations Manager. A company-provided vehicle, mobile phone, computer, and tablet will facilitate effective performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and rosters
  2. Ensure adherence to all deadlines and budget requirements
  3. Induct, deliver, and develop staff based on WHS standards and best practices
  4. Provide effective leadership, supervision, and direction to staff members
  5. Organize and supervise periodic and ad-hoc work projects
  6. Monitor and report on site performances, timesheets, and scheduled works
  7. Liaise effectively with customers and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of cleaning supervisory experience
  • National Police Certificate (recommended)
  • Driver's Licence (mandatory)
  • Working with Children Check (recommended)
  • Australia Work Authorisation (mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cleaning experience: 4 years (recommended)
