Role Overview

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Technical Training Manager to ensure that all training materials are aligned with industry standards and company objectives. The primary responsibility will be to support the competency goals of the retail network by delivering comprehensive training programs across various markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering both in-person and virtual technical training sessions for various levels of technicians, including apprentices and master technicians.
- Regularly reviewing and updating training content to maintain its relevance and effectiveness.
- Ensuring that the training programs offered are recognized as the most valuable and sought-after within the industry.
- Collaborating with regional teams and dealerships to optimize participation in training events.
- Applying contemporary adult learning principles to enhance the effectiveness of training outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- In-depth technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair methodologies.
- The ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Strong business acumen, including the ability to manage performance metrics effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by a friendly and collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and online training platforms.
- Relevant qualifications in the automotive field, with a preference for those holding a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a training capacity is desirable.
