Our Service

Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish Outside School Hours Care is an integral part of the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish and school community, providing high-quality care for up to 105 children. We strive to create a safe and engaging environment that caters to the diverse needs of school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for all children.
  • Lead a team of dedicated educators, providing guidance and support to bring out the best in each team member.
  • Develop and implement innovative programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our young adventurers.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging and partnership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards, maintaining a high standard of care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Educator with diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent.
  • Prior leadership experience in OSHC setting.
  • Passion for creating engaging programs.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in OSHC.
