Job Summary

The Work Integrated Learning Coordinator is a key role within our organization. This position plays a pivotal part in the day-to-day operational activities of our team, ensuring the successful coordination and delivery of Work Integrated Learning initiatives.

  • This role requires exceptional leadership skills to oversee a team providing comprehensive support for Work Integrated Learning activities, balancing workload distribution and handling complex queries as needed.
  • In collaboration with the Work Integrated Learning Manager and relevant stakeholders, this role will establish and maintain strategic relationships with industry partners, community groups, and government organizations to develop new opportunities and ensure the continuation of existing programs.
  • The incumbent will lead the development of business practices, operational processes, and service provision, fostering a culture of multidisciplinary teamwork and innovation.
  • This role is responsible for providing up-to-date advice and information to students and staff, handling escalated queries, and developing resources to support students and staff in understanding placement requirements and managing placements effectively.
  • The Work Integrated Learning Coordinator will oversee communications related to placements, contribute to marketing materials, and represent our organization at internal and external events.
  • Preparation of reports, data analysis, and quality assurance processes are also integral aspects of this role.
  • The successful candidate will embody our organization's values, promoting equality, diversity, and social responsibility.
  • Collaboration with academic staff, students, and professional service functions is essential in achieving the goals of this role.
  • This role supports compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies, identifies risks, and promotes good practice in health and safety, equity, and other areas.
  • Participation in committees and working parties is required to achieve organizational objectives.
  • This role may involve miscellaneous tasks as requested by management.
