Hearing Australia is a trusted leader in hearing health, supporting and empowering individuals across the country. This role covers East Maitland, Maitland, Cessnock & Raymond Terrace locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive auditory assessments of adult clients in accordance with established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards
  • Provide rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate
  • Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where necessary
  • Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
  • Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health & support agencies and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client
  • Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as required
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, manage client load and meet revenue targets

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Audiology
  • Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia
  • Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
  • Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
  • Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and travel to various locations to undertake clinical work
