About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team at The Smith's Snackfood Company, a leading manufacturer of snack foods. As a Process Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure flavour testing is completed effectively and accurately, supplying flavour in accordance with product run.
  • Complete quality checks as required, managing materials and waste.
  • Operate advanced centre-lining, process equipment, and monitor and clean as necessary.
  • Monitor quality performance optimization and make adjustments as needed.
  • Carry out advanced production line management, equipment calibration, and monitoring.
  • Prepare and complete accurate records, ensuring products remain within specifications.
Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in a Processing role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment or industrial kitchen/cooking environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, while working towards achieving team goals.
  • Understanding of HACCP and GMP, with a record of reliability and safe work practices.
  • High mechanical aptitude, with strong attention to detail, safety, and reliability.
  • Flexible approach to ensure the job gets done right the first time and to ensure quality in every bag.
  • Motivated individual with a hunger to learn new skills, challenge yourself, and progress your career.
